There are 13 teams signed up, sign-ups will be open for another week. However, only 11 teams will be able to take part in the race. There will be an elimination task at the beginning, and only the Top 11 will be guaranteed a spot on the race.

Just an opinion, nobody get angry please.
Which team won't even be around when the game starts? If they aren't around when the game starts, should it be fair that they make it into the game over 2 other teams who possibly would be more active?
If that team dropped out now, that would bring the team count down to 12. And there would only be 1 team elmiminated at the start making it more fair for everyone else.
Just stating my opinion, it would be different if the team is going on vacation but will be on the computer when tasks are posted.

The first elimination task will take place right at the beginning of the race, the purpose of this task is to choose the 11 teams who want to be in the most
