Twelve teams embarked from Griffith Observatory in a Race around the world, for one (fictional) million dollars...
And with a surprising twist...
Donna: Starting line task! Oh my!
Ann: OH MY GOSH! Mitchell! Ruun! Get it!
Dan: This is serious matter - again!
Phil: Kris and Jon... you have a speed bump to complete this leg...
Teams traveled from Los Angeles, to Osaka, Japan.
Where teams immediately learned to make instant noodles - the slow, old fashioned way.
Sam (and Liz): This requires patience... argh.
Rachel: This isn't easy!
Margalit: Oh my gosh! I spilled the soup!
And are sent to find a local crab restaurant and shell crabs for a group of customers...
Liz: I've never shelled crabs in my life before...
Collin: Ouch! This hurts!
In the end... Paula and Natasha danced to first place...

And teams not reading race clues are heavily penalized... making them vulnerable to last place...

This is Osaka Japan...
This city was previously the capital of Japan with its majestic castles.
Now, it is known for being the culinary capital of Japan...
Osaka is also known to have the numerous lights and sounds of neon signs sprawling in their most popular districts.
And near Osaka Bay... The Kaiyukan Aquarium.
This aquarium is made of 314 tons of acrylic glass, and located at Mount Tempozan, is the first pit stop in a race around the world.

You have been provided tickets via PanStar Line to Busan, leaving 4:00 PM October 26th, and arriving 10:00 AM on October 27th. You have no obligation whatsoever to use the said tickets, however, you will have to pay for your tickets to Busan if you choose NOT to ride the said ship.
You may depart Osaka and take a bus or a bullet train to the following cities: Shimonoseki, Fukuoka.
You have 300 USD for this leg of the Race.
Other teams depart the following times:

1. Wait for 4:00 PM the next day and ride the PanStar Express to Busan
(- 4000 JPY) [THIS IS AN ASSUMED AMOUNT OF FOOD FOR THE TEAM, THE CHEAPEST TRANSPORT AVAILABLE AND ALL THE NECESSARY FUNDS]
2. Go to (Umeda Bus Station/JR Line) and take the (Bus/Bullet Train) to (Shimonoseki/Fukuoka) and ride to Busan from there. (-8000 JPY, +18 minutes) [THIS IS A MANDATORY TAXI RIDE]
If you do this choice...
PM me the following:
- A schedule of the bullet train or bus that will depart
- A schedule of the ship you're riding
- AMOUNT TO BE PAID IN YEN - SEPARATE THE BUS/TRAIN AND THE SHIP PAYEMENTS;
NOTE THAT THE AMOUNT PAID IS FOR TWO PEOPLE AND NOT FOR ONE.
