Kris & Jon hold hands as they rush onto the mat at the Pit Stop:
Phil: Kris & Jon, you are the second team to arrive.
Jon: WHAT? That's great!
Kris: But you said "second team to arrive."
Phil: When all the others arrive, I'll explain.
At 9:30 all the teams (including Kris & Jon) are gathered around Phil.
Phil: The reason you were all called here is because of the following reasons...
1. A lot of the teams have violated rules during this leg of the race. Rules explicitly state that BOTH team members must perform the detour. The following teams will earn a 12 HOUR PENALTY because only one of them submitted the detour:
- Azaria and Hendekea
- Rachel and Jane
- Sam and Dan
- Paula and Natasha
- Hannah and Margalit
FURTHERMORE, Shanina and Rhys did not complete the detour at all, despite the 4 - 6 day deadline I gave. They will earn a 24 HOUR PENALTY.
Azaria & Hendekea, Rachel & Jane, Sam & Dan, Paula & Natasha and Hannah & Margit all look stunned, while Rhys & Shanina look like they got a punch in the gut. Kris & Jon also look stunned, as if they're having a hard time believing what they're hearing.
Phil: The following teams were not able to complete the Roadblock:
- Azaria and Hendekea
- Paula and Natasha
- Ann and Mitchell
Thus, you will earn an additional 4 HOUR PENALTY to your pit stop time. Therefore... Kris and Jon, you are officially team number 1!
Kris: OH MY GOD!
Jon: WE DID IT!
The engaged couple hug & kiss excitedly.
Phil: And I have some good news for you. As the winners of this leg of the Race, you have won a trip for two from Travelocity to Hoi An, Vietnam! You will stay 7 days & nights in the beautiful Indochine Hotel Hoi An in a room with a view of the beautiful and romantic Thu Bon river and countryside villages. What's more, you'll be able to take the Hoi An Eco Tour, where you'll learn how the people of Hoi An live. And you can enjoy it after the Race.
Kris & Jon hug again, but they still look stunned.
Phil: How does it feel to move from 8th to first?
Kris: It's unbelievable! I thought we'd come in sixth at best!
Jon: This is what we're more accustomed to. But still -- wow!

When will next leg and prediction is up?? Can't Wait!! Hometown Ownage for me!! Wahahaha!! I wouldn't say that if I were you... Most teams get eliminated in their hometowns... Neh Wuming never haha.. ;D  |

And congrats enneiteml & bellebook for their win, awesome comeback! Thanks! You could've knocked me over with a feather when I found out that Kris & Jon had come in first! I should thank Bryanpasa since he (or is that she?) gave me the clue that enabled me to complete the Roadblock. If I hadn't gotten it, we'd have gotten a 4-hour penalty, though we'd have still been at the front of the pack. And of course, I'm glad Enniteml did the Alley Cricket Detour task and that we both did really well with it. Belle Book |

Oh...wow. Didn't expect that. =D Phil: Jim & Donna...you are the 7th team to arrive. Donna: Wow! We climbed up from our 9th place finishes!!!! Jim: Once again, you did all the awesome work! Phil: However... Donna: Oh no. Phil: A lot of teams have gotten penalties. Jim: Shoot. I hope none goes to us. ;_; Phil: And unfortunately...............for them, you didn't. Shanina: (crying) We are really sorry to our fellow racers for not conpleting the detour...
Phil: You will have to work very, very hard in order for you to catch up. Why did you decide to skip the detour.
Rhys: We were having a really hard time with it and decided to quit the detour and continue, knowing we would receive a penalty.
Shanina: This has really taught us that persistance and communication are essential.
Rhys: We hope that next leg we can show the other teams that we are not quiters!
Shanina: And we have what it takes to win!
Rhys: Keep strong, Mr Muscle!
Shanina: (laughing) You always know how to cheer me up!
Question: Have those four hour penalties been added on yet? Anything to gain some time!

Okay, I got numerous pleads to shorten the penalty time for this leg of the race.
Honestly, I did not expect this to happen, as this is the one leg I did not tally your scores until all of you completed the whole leg, as such, I wasn't able to notify the other teams on which tasks are missing. It was a total shocker to me as well...
So yeah, I always followed TAR rules; 4 hour penalty for Roadblocks, 24 hour penalty for not completing the detour - which is still in existence as we can see about Maria and Tiffany's elimination in Holland. I am still contemplating and studying what are the effects if I reduce the penalty time of those who did not complete the Detour to 8 hours and 16 hours respectively.
Trust me, I did NOT want this to happen. And yeah, I'm following the main rules of the show here. I'll come up with my final decision during the pit start. As it is also unfair to the three teams who have followed the rules - whether it is by accident or they really know it.
P.S. With realshowfan's condition that scruffs is MIA, I have allowed him to complete the tasks except for the fact that he gets an extra time. If anyone would be absent during a detour task, you may announce it ahead of time so that arrangements can be made.

Oh noez =( 12 Hours behind </3 But, I watched 2012 Movie and it's so awesome Mirna look-alike signing an "f***" sign to her billionaire husband who abandoned her in getting to the ship <3 and she prevailed! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully, we're gonna be bunched in that gigantic ship XD True! True! True! 2012 (+ if you watch it in front of everybody in the theaters) is waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy better than New Moon (which suck!  ) and HP6 (Im so sorry, but kinda bit boring, the movie)! And LOL at the F*ck sign by Mirna-Look-Alike to her Russian Billionaire Husband!
