Thailand has incorporated their religion, traditions, practices and beliefs to the modernization today. In this Detour, teams will have to choose between Animal Lover or Religious Shopper.

In Animal Lover, teams will have to run to four marked stations around the Wat and complete four tasks that will involve Animals. 1) Teams will have to carry a crocodile from a pen to another. 2) Teams will have to give a dog a bath. 3) Teams will have to feed a monkey a banana and 4) Teams will have to take pictures of a common bird found in Bangkok. Once they have completed the task, they will receive their next clue. This task looks daunting and is the difficult of the two, but if teams want to save their money, they will be choosing this option.

In Religious Shopper, teams will now have to make their way to Yaowarat Road, and once there, they must find various Religious models, statues, avatars or any other that they should buy. They may choose any store or site where they can buy it, as long as their religious items would be under Buddhism. This may look as the easier of two detours, but teams must be weary that they have limited money for the race. Once teams buy 3 religious items, they must return to the temple again and present them to the a monk, who will hand them their next clue.
