This is the first and only Fast Forward present in the race course. In this Fast Forward, teams must drive themselves to Keelung city. Once there, they must proceed to Lovers Lake, in which various ropes are set up. Teams must traverse the ropes to retrieve their Fast Forward award.

In this Detour, teams will enjoy themselves in two of Taiwan's most popular snacks - Their choice: Get Stinky or Get Bubbly.

In Get Stinky, teams will have to make their way to the marked tables in the chaotic stalls and area of the Shilin Foodcourt. Once there, they must search their next clue under ten plates by eating up - Stinky Tofu. Stinky Tofu is considered as Taiwan's most popular snack yet its pungent and unappetizing smell, and teams will have to digest them in order to receive their next clue. While the portions are not many for each plate, teams who are unlucky might suffer from vomits, nausea, & full and bad stomachs, as they are generally unused to this street cuisine. Teams must also take caution of their gastronomic capacities as if they over exceed eating, they will force themselves to drop/pass out and wait for 5 U before continuing.

In Get Bubbly, teams will have to make their way to the marked stalls, and make their own concoction of - Bubble Tea. Teams will be making their own concoction of Taiwan's famous drink. They must give a name for it, and list down their ingredients used aside from the black pearl/sago and tea water. Once finished, they will market their concoction amongst the Taiwanese youth through posters, slogans or anything (1 per update). Teams must be able to sell 10 of their bubble tea concoction before they will receive their next clue. To make it more challenging for teams, the stalls chosen by the producers are pitted against each other, and since the youth loves to bandwagon, teams without the charm and creativity, will fall down to last place.

Originally formed when the Kuomintang lost the civil war to the Communist Party in 1949, when it relocated to Taiwan and established Taipei as the ROC's provisional capital. Today, the ROC is a democracy with a semi-presidential system and universal suffrage. The president serves as the head of state and the Legislative Yuan serves as legislative body. One of the Four Asian Tigers, Taiwan is the 26th-largest economy in the world. Its technology industry plays a key role in the global economy. The ROC is ranked high in terms of freedom of press, health care, public education and economic freedom, among others.

Teams will be traveling to its capital city, Taipei. Because of expensive fees of production, teams will only be given a minimal amount of 1 PHP for this leg of the Race.

To get to Taiwan, teams must make their way to Guangzhou International Airport and book flights to Taiwan.
