Hi guys!
I'm gonna start a game... again, and this will be the first ever DavidMV's Amazing Race, that will make us forget of what my try at DAR1 became.
I'm just making the Route, and it is a race through Europe ONLY, so people who would like to get to know Europe have now the chance to race in here!
I'm willing to take up to 12 teams, that would like to be active in the race, for a fast paced race. I have to say that I won't start it until, at least, June 15th, more or less, but I'll have some issues in August, and won't be here for the entire month. I don't know if I'll do it in a month and a half, so maybe, I'd push it till September.
This race, for 12 teams of one user/team, is scheduled to last for 13 legs, with some special powers (only the ones seen in real TAR), and visiting 9-10 countries (The route has been made!)
You can start signing up, guys, andyou'll be reminded about this once the time gets closer.

The course is already done, and it goes through 12 or 13 countries, and more than 20 cities.
More people are needed to join still, though it will start in September and people still have time to join. But as soon as you know if you want to join, just book your spot!

Well, By the moment we have 5 out of 12 spots booked. I just think I will NOT open more spots because the race, NELs, ELs, powers and so on have already been placed, don't wanna have DELs, and it is everything "planned".
It is almost half a year till its beggining, so expect me to think a lot of different tasks, new things and so on.
And, what do you think? I just don't know if I should continue with the "Mystery part" I started in my first try of hosting... I think that was what made me go slow and so on. I'm planning to simplify things as much as I can because I'll be moving to university by that time, and just hope to host but not spending a lot of time here.

And thinking a bit more, I think I'm going to have a test leg so as to know what should be improved and so on. That test leg should be the last week of June more or less. I'll just set a leg so that you get to know how will it work and so on.

Finally, I'm thinking in putting this game in Survivor Rocks. I think I prefer the way it makes the tables rather than tables in here, ORGT. I think I prefer that site.
Do you mind having it in another place?

I will most likely be hosting my game here and at RFF (it's mostly just copy and paste the code anyway). I initially posted there to get more participants (and now we have 9!), but peach started asking me questions (and I really don't want to offend her). The other site has even less people, so not really. You should advertise on another site, definitely. Sucks seems a bit too uncivil, so that leaves RFF. |
