Teams must now follow a marked path to the docks, and ride (along with their bikes) a chartered boat departing at 8:00 AM or 9:30 AM to San Cristobal Island.
This boat ride will take approximately 90 minutes.
Teams have now encountered a Yield (before departure from the docks), One team can use the Yield to stop one team from racing for a predetermined amount of time.
Once a team has been yielded, they must turn the hourglass over and wait for the sand to run out before they can continue racing.
ROUTE INFORMATION:[/b] 1. POST: *Run to Bikes and follow marked path to docks!*TIME: 21 minutes + increments of 2 minutes per charter batchTechnicians will get less 3 minutes from their total time. Truant team members will get additional 5 minutes to their total time.
SCREENTIME TASK 1: The YieldTeams may attempt to Yield another team in exchange of a deduction of 8 minutes from their final time. To use the Yield, teams must copy the Yield Marker, and place both pictures of the Yielded team and the Courtesy Picture and post it again here. Along with... *We choose to Yield (TEAM)!*
HOW WILL THE YIELD (or any other special race marker) WORK?- The Yield will add an extra 30 minutes to the team that is Yielded. -The Yield and any other race clue will be highly dependent on your: a. Placement b. Speed in Posting Example:Team D who is fourth wants to use the Yield and uses it against Team F (6th) Team B who is second used it to Yield Team D. It is Team B's Yield that will take effect and not Team D's. Any team may choose to Yield until the next clue appears, after which the Yield will already take effect. NOTE: All teams have ONE NON-REFILLABLE Courtesy Of picture. That means if you use the Yield, you may not use another special race marker again aside from the Blind U-Turn.NEXT CLUE: 9:30 PM EST, April 15
