What image software do you use? Paint, Photoshop? I use GIMP and paint. Just want to see what is good.

Photoshop & Paint all the way. XDD I suck with GIMP. But I have the GIMP installer app on my laptop, in case I might need it.  |

I have photo shop and Gimp but i dunno how to use. I stuck in making a poster and i need to create fancy lettering.. Anyone know how to do it?? I try to use Gimp, but i cannot get the effect i wanted..  |

I recently got Pain.NET, a free software that has made me think I need to change my actual pictures in my race! Love it, and it's sooooo easy to use. It is said to be a mix of Paint and Photoshop, and it's got lots of things effects and so on. I tried Photoshop but couldn't make it right. For dumb people like me, use PAINT.NET |

It is said to be a mix of Paint and Photoshop, and it's got lots of things effects and so on. I tried Photoshop but couldn't make it right. For dumb people like me, use PAINT.NET GIMP's pretty easy, it makes it easier to switch to PS. |

Don't know if this goes here but might as well try. Question: I don't know how to make GIF animations or whaddya call those stuff (like the avatar I'm having right now --- Thanks Autowil!!! ). So how do people render video formats like avi into image formats like gif? |

I used Adobe Fireworks CS4 It is REALLY professional, however, I only used the trial version. The real version is like 400USD... So now I used paint  |
