I don't know if this type of game is allowed/desired, but if it is I'd like to start one. The game is basically a voting game with users from this forum as contestants. Everyone who wants to be a contestant simply signs up. There is nothing you have to do if you sign up except have your name up for everyone to award/subtract points to. ANYONE CAN VOTE/PARTICIPATE, NOT JUST CONTESTANTS. Every contestant starts with 10 points. Each person who posts adds one point to one person and subtracts one from another. Like so:
When any contestant gets down to zero, they are out of the game/eliminated. At the end we will have some kind of runoff to determine the winner between the final 2 (I don't know what we'll do yet, but suggestions or other creative proposals for the game are welcome in the thread).
I think we should only go up to 16 contestants; otherwise it could get too long.
NOTE: If you choose to participate, you must be aware that you may be voted against. Please do not join if you are the type of person to take these things personally. If you are voted out it does NOT necessarily mean that everyone hates you.

I will also try to spice things up by adding unique rounds that are different from the regular voting, such as secret (PM) votes or votes that are similar to those in Raymond's IANU voting game. Please join, everyone! This game essentially takes zero effort! |

Just add everyone! OK, I'm just going to do what I should have done a week or two ago. I'm going to put up a poll with members on this site and you can vote for which members should be in the game. Please vote! Let's make this site more active! EDIT: Never mind, it appears my poll completely and utterly failed and now I can't undo it, so I'm just going to add in my choices to get to 16 total, and then leave four empty slots for recommendations. If those four slots are not filled by February 26th, at 11:00 am Mountain Time (or 6:00 pm GMT), I will fill them and at that time the game (voting) will start!  |
