OMG... I'll have to wait for Youtube or something like that to see the episode... Damnit! If it makes you feel any better, you're not alone. I usually do that too. It can be an agonizing wait, though.

Okay, just to say that this batch is one of the most STUPID teams ever. Now I know why Jordeff and Caite were there!

Some thoughts: - They deleted the part to Wulff's Castle.
- Loved Phil's introductions and narrative this episode. I learned some new things about Valparaiso.
- Funiculars ftw (just like SF's cable cars)
- Brent/Caite and Jordan are on my hate list now.
The others, even though some made mistakes, are still okay, for now.

Because of this, their leg in Valparaiso looked like a NEIGHBORHOOD PLACE... Their premiere did not look anything nice at all. Such a trainwreck.

Because of this, their leg in Valparaiso looked like a NEIGHBORHOOD PLACE... Their premiere did not look anything nice at all. Such a trainwreck. It was way too rushed. However, this cast is more diverse and interesting (save the stuntcasted teams) than TAR 15. Plus, there were more tasks to do. Not as good as TAR 14, but so much better than last season's intro. The lack of airport drama next week should help with the pacing.

TAR 14 has the best intro imo.

TAR 14 has the best intro imo. Of course. They didn't spend the first 15 minutes in LAX over senseless airplane drama, and the teams went all over the country like in the old days. The Emmy guys loved it!

Staying in one neighborhood is not necessary. It was a trainwreck. Just too fast to understand. It reminds me of another South American premiere that was just too fast...of course, that one doesn't look that fast now! Anxious for the future episodes, hopefully we will get to know the teams better, rather than seeing tons of mistakes.

Which Jordan? 'Cause I do not like both of the Jordans. Girl Jordan's lack of IQ makes me lol though. I feel this premiere is lacking. The dramas that were expected to be dramatic, aren't so. So yeah.

Did Team BB read their clue? Where they are going? Guatemala? China? lol... nevertheles, I love them. Another dumb moment was Steve & Allie's panting task. lol, especially when they asked for their next clue. the local has no idea what was going on. haha
Maybe we should do a list for stupid/dumb moments and see if we can get a lot to say that this is the Stupid batch ever.
love: Jeff & Jordan, Monique & Shawne, Catie & Brent, Joe & Heidi.
Not interested with Louie & Michael

Reposting my assessment from RFF. Let's face it, when I find one thing bad about an episode, I can rant on it for a while. I'm in a more optimistic mood now that I had some sleep. Favorites now: Monique & Shawne, Joe & Heidi, Dana & Adrian, Steve & Allison, Jody & Shannon, Jet & Cord. Meh: Carol & Brandy, Daniel & Jordan, Jeff & Jordan, Brent & Caite, Louie & Michael. Hate: None yet.

GMTA Hooky. Perhaps I was too mean to Caite and Jeff's Jordan yesterday. They are strong female racers. Caite is determined and they would have done pretty well if they had just READ THE CLUE more carefully. As for Jordan, calling Chile China and admitting you've never been out of the country does not bode well. Brett and Jeff are meh for now.
