Discuss.
This leg looks to me like it will have lots of interesting twists. Should be a good one. Won't be surprised if the Intersection kills one team's race, though.

An absurd amount of stuff happened in this leg. - The intersection wasn't detrimental to anybody particularly.
- No one was too whiny or unlikeable in this episode.
- Tasks were very conservative (all of them have appeared in some form or another) but not lame.
- Disappointed to see potential airport drama cut out, but at least by doing so, the ending didn't feel as rushed as Ep. 1 had. Liked the partial emphasis on non-taxi transportation; it's obvious navigation is becoming a very important factor in this race.
- The detectives are lucky to win $5000 gift cards.
Overall, I liked how this leg and the last one were unique legs (i.e. they didn't remind me of past legs in Argentina and Germany respectively). Next week: a blind U-turn and a speedbump. So much stuff is happening.

One word: evil. I don't like this leg at all. It had just about every potentially irritating thing occur.

If TAR continues to do these kinds of legs, which has happened since Episode 1, they'll die soon.

What I disliked about this leg was just like the premiere, they tried to cram too much stuff into one episode. As a result, the editing was very frenetic and I had no idea what was going on. The beer task was unnecessary and took up air space that could have been used for other things such as - Beatles Platz: SO obvious something was edited out there.
- Air flight drama: The trailing 4 teams were actually scheduled to arrive first and were delayed to last. Hence why the detectives ended up arriving on the "first" flight. Now why was that not shown?
Also, WHY did they make teams fly through Frankfurt? There are plenty of options for flying directly to Hamburg, and teams wasted about 3 hours on an unnecessary train ride. Phil looked exhausted at the mat while the last 4 teams checked in; Jeff/Jordan checked in at what, midnight? Finally, the tasks shown weren't very unique and memorable. Had this leg been two hours or even 90 minutes, there would have been much more to show everything the design team planned.

I personally believe that the tasks this season were so much easier than last season, And I already ridiculed how easy and cheap tasks were.

It seem some the detour task are so similar to past season.. The eating one seem easy but I personally eaten that stuff, and it really dun suit my taste so the eating task can be easy or be potent to other teams.. I feel the drinking beer is a bit off.. Why not put in a Beetle task instead in finding the pitstop.. Like solving puzzle to find the name beetles to the beetles street.. Once there maybe team can use beetles song to find someone at the lane so they will bring them to the pitstop straight.. Just some suggestion..

Why are you people scrutinizing TAR so much to the point that you even may hate it? If you don't like TAR (or what TAR is now compared to past seasons), THEN DON'T WATCH IT!
You are complaining TOO MUCH. You are critizicing TOO HARSH that you think you can design a better race. Sigh.
If you think it's Constructive Criticism, yes, yet not. Its pushing beyond the BIBLE BELT!
Again, I want to stress this point: If you are not liking TAR right now, you only have two things to do: 1. Be appreciative that there is still TAR, and/or 2. Stop watching TAR.
(Sorry for this uproar. I just really hate people critizicing. Look yourself to the mirror first. Think you can do a better race? And I say a REAL RACE? Ponder first.)
[PLEASE DON'T COMMENT IN MY REPLY, M'KAY?]

I didn't hate this episode. I was just pointing out some things that I thought could be improved. Besides, TAR is always better than half of the shows on TV right now. The only thing I have a problem with is the editing, but it'll get better as the number of teams decrease. Every now and then, a really good episode shows up to establish why TAR is the best reality competition show out there. (I'm not going to jinx next week's episode )
